Dear Seniors,

It's officially the last week of classes-what a crazy thought. In
addition to all of the term papers, problem sets, and finals still
required for us second semester seniors to graduate, there is also the
swim test. And last time I checked, I, and a whole lot of us, are not
graduating. Hence...the Swim Test Party. Come out to the pool in your
finest aquatic wear this Friday at 2pm. We will be serving up free
pizza and giving away customized CC2008 towels to the first 75
Seniors.

Also: Commencement Tickets. If you did not pick them up last week,
please go to 405 Lerner and get them asap. If you are in need of extra
commencement tickets, or have extras that you would like to give away,
visit: www.CUTickets.com. We have created it just for you.

1. Swim Test Party

You've made it this far, you've got enough credits, now you need to
swim three laps in Dodge. So...why not do it with 100 other Seniors?
Come out this Friday at 2pm for the Swim Test Party, get some free
pizza, get a free CC2008 towel, and qualify to graduate.

WHO: All of you delinquents who have not completed the swim test
(though others are welcome for emotional support)
WHAT: Swim Test
WHERE: The pool is located on the first floor of the Dodge Fitness
Center. Take the elevator down, come out, and take a right. The
entrances to the locker rooms are on your left.
WHEN: This Friday at 2pm

WHO: Class of 1958 and Class of 2008
WHEN: Tuesday, April 29th, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM
WHERE: V&T's
WHAT: Dinner served family style.
HOW: We have room for 4 more students. Please email me at

yourself (and a friend, if you would like)

3. Class Notes

Columbia College Today magazine is preparing the July/August issue,
and they want notes from all of you! If you have post-graduation
plans, if you know what you are doing this summer, or if you just want
to send a message to the class, please email me at [email protected]
with a few lines, or more. Please email me with the subject line
"Columbia College Today" by Thursday, May 1st.

4. SENIOR DINNER

Senior Dinner will be held on MONDAY, MAY 5 on South Lawn at 8pm.
Celebrate the last day of classes with the Class of 2008!

Registration for Senior Dinner is now CLOSED. If you have not
registered your table or yourself, please email Lauren Abbott at
[email protected] as soon as possible. We can not promise that we
will be able to accommodate you, but we will do our best.

SENIOR DINNER SLIDESHOW

The submission deadline for photos for the Senior Dinner slideshow has
been EXTENDED to THIS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30 at midnight. If you have
not yet submitted photos from the last four years, make sure you do so
by Wednesday!

-KITS: if you're parents ordered you a kit and you got an email,
please pick it up may 1st!!!

-TICKET SALES end 5/5. Buy your tickets now!!
Please remember that you can only purchase tickets once. If you have
any problems, please email [email protected] so that we can
reset your account.

-Also, a note on DRESS CODE:
Senior Ball- black tie (tux and formal dresses, not cocktail)
Columbia Club- business casual
Boat Tour- semi formal (button downs and cocktail dresses)

6. Commencement Ticket Exchange

Calling all graduating students in need of tickets to Commencement!

If you have extra tickets to Commencement or if you are in need of
some, then the Commencement Ticket Exchange is for you! The CTE is a
website open to all members of the University where you can make a
post saying you have extra tickets or view posts made by students
across the University who have extra tickets! All you need to use the
site is a UNI!

Why put up flyers all over campus if you've got extra tickets you
don't want? Why waste time and energy looking for flyers advertising
extra ones? Save some paper and save your time by letting the CTE
centralize everything for you!

underclassman at the 114th Annual Varsity Show. Trust us, the extra $5
will get you some of the best seats in the house (without
underclassmen), free snacks and one last chance to laugh at all things
quintessentially Columbia.

the Classes of 1998–2008 to attend the Young Alumni Casino Royale.

Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 5PM - 8PM on South Lawn

The end of the year is almost near...why not spend the time before finals
outdoors at a good old fashion barbeque?! Join SGA, ESC, CCSC, and GSSC on
the south lawn for some music, games and FOOD at the End-of-Year BBQ:
Candyland Cookout! We will have chicken, ribs, and beans, alongside ice
cream, candy canes, gumdrops, and chocolate!
