A native of Louisa, Virginia, Sheranda Smith Campbell holds a degree in English and secondary education from Howard University (B.A. 1997). Sherandas work experience has focused on grassroots organizing, legislative research, and community outreach. As the National College Chapter Coordinator and Northeast Region Youth Field Director for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), she was responsible for training, organizing and mobilizing youth and young adults between the ages 13-25. Currently, she is a Masters of Public Administration candidate at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University.
