Mio Matsumoto

Mio Matsumoto is a doctrial candidate in American history at Columbia University. His dissertation will discuss Afro-American social scientists during the 1920s and 30s and their critcism of the concept of race, which he believes have been overlooked in today's academia. He has received an Associate dgeree from Tompkins-Cortland Community College in Ithaca, NY, and a BA and MA from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Working for ACJP as a researcher, he has helped compile the annotated bibliography of black writers on race and criminal justice.
