Directions for Visitors
The Center for Contemporary Black History is located at 760
Schermerhorn Extension, Columbia University. The closest street
entrance is on Amsterdam Avenue at the intersection of West
119th Street. To reach the Center, enter the building on the
ground floor off Amsterdam Avenue and take the elevator to the
7th floor. The Center is located at the end of the corridor,
in suite 760.
