Departments & Programs
The IGERT team is comprised of a diverse group of faculty members, drawing graduate students from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University. Interested students are encouraged to apply to one of these departments/ programs, noting their interest in the IGERT on the application:

The GSAPP has two PhD Programs, Architecture and Planning. Applicants interested in Urban Design and Preservation should contact the respective chairs of the Architecture and Urban Planning doctoral subcommittees, to determine the compatibility of their research interests with those programs and the goals of the IGERT.
