Teaching and Outreach

In order to comprehend the significance of teaching and outreach to achieving sustainable urban design, Trainees must engage in either a teaching or an outreach activity In Year 4 of their IGERT experience.

Trainees engaged in teaching training gain experience as teaching fellows in the Year 1 and 2 integrative courses or studios associated with this IGERT program, or in courses offered by their home department.

Trainees engaged in outreach training work with urban stakeholders to publicize the research results of the IGERT in formats deemed most useful by the stakeholders.
