Acknowledgments

We gratefully acknowledge Kajima Corporation for donating this centrifuge. Thanks Dr. Teru Yoshida for his endless communications with me.

The initial phase of installation was funded by Mindlin Foundation and Carleton Fund . We especially would like to acknowledge the generous contribution by Dr.  Katherine Mindlin Reinleitner.

Some of our former students (from the Department) also made financial contribution to the Project.

The efforts of our Chairman, Prof. Vaicaitis, the Dean's Office (Dean Galil and Vice Dean Friedman), Prof. Wilson, Mr. Chen and Prof. Garvin (the three who coordinated the "unloading project" -- American Bridge assisted in the unloading of the centrifuge to Carleton Lab.) and all  my collaborative colleagues, made this dream possible. Rimas spent more time and effort than me in coordinating the design, construction and meetings related to the centrifuge installation.

Bob McAllister, the technical consultant to the University Facilities, managed the construction project.

Actidyn, under Jacques Perdiriat, did the installation.
