Wallace Eckert and the Apollo Moon Missions

Wallace Eckert devoted his life to celestial mechanics, primarily as applied to computation of the orbit of the Moon. His need to produce more accurate lunar tables in less time led him to ... (THIS PAGE IS NOT WRITTEN YET) ... But to mention just one thing, he built a HUGE COMPUTER to do the calculations, and the data produced on that computer guided the Apollo missions.
