The Apple Lisa 1 (1983-84) and Lisa 2 (1984-85). The Lisa 1 has a 5MB external hard drive plus two internal 5.25-inch diskette drives and cost nearly $10,000. The Lisa 2 has an internal 10MB hard drive and an internal 3.5-inch diskette drive and cost about $5000. We had several Lisas in Watson Lab, but eventually they were forgotten as the Macintosh caught up and then surpassed them. They were, after all, just prototypes for what would become the Mac.
