International Kermit Conference Moscow 1989 - Photo #7

International Kermit Conference Moscow 1989 Photo #7 This is the sign in front of the conference hall, with a picture adapted from the first Kermit book, and the flying frog taken from the rubber stamp that the "Kermites" liked to put on outgoing mail. Kermit protocol and software was named after Kermit the Frog; the name used by permission of Henson Associates Inc, but we did not have permission to use images of Kermit the Frog or other Muppets Show characters, but some found it difficult to avoid the use of occasional frog imagery.
