More ICSTI gang, the same group but with me substituted for Christine. Note the bottle of ПЭПСИ in the foreground, along with some Georgian mineral water in the green bottle. Pepsi was sold in the USSR but not Coke (there is a movie about this). I have a Cyrillic PEPSI bottlecap somewhere.... One day on the street we saw a long line (not uncommon in Moscow); it was for Pepsi, which was in a gigantic barrel, like a 55-gallon drum. When you arrive at the head of the line, you pay a few Kopeks, the previous customer hands you the cup, you dip it in the barrel, drain it, and pass it back it to the next in line.
