Thanks everybody to a healthy, delicious, and fun semester. CoreFoods will be shutting down soon
for the holiday break, but we'll see you in 2010, when we'll kick off the semester with a very
exciting movie screening of BIG RIVER in conjunction with CUFSP. We'll also be sending
out a call for board applications! More details to come. In the mean time, have a wonderful
and safe break!

Come join us for our second potluck of the year and a movie night to watch FOOD INC.,
an independent movie that does some heavy detective work to find out what really happens to
the food we eat. The movie features the truth about the chicken and beef industries as well
as farming and agriculture in general. This event is absolutely free!

Come join us for a free and delicious dinner. We will be serving an array of delicious and
homemade dishes, including couscous with brussel sprouts, tossed salad, fresh vegetables,
spanakopita, vegan cupcakes, and more. Feel free to bring a dish of your own. Also, please
bring your own cup, plate, and utensils so that we can limit our trash.

2. Events Coordinator Maureen Stimola, CC 2012
3. Publicity Coordinator Rachel Shannon-Solomon, CC 2012
Read more about them on our board members page. Thank you for all of your applications and
here's to a great year!

Sunday, September 6, 2009, 9:30-10:30 AM, Lerner Hall West Ramp Lounge
Welcome to the class of 2013! If you're interested in all things green, join us for the NSOP
Meet and Greets with the environmental organizations. CoreFoods and many other green
interest groups on campus will be there from 9:30-10:30 AM. The Meet and Greets are a valuable
opportunity to get one-on-one time with our CoreBoard members before the chaos of the Activities
Fair. If you want to find out what we're about or want to learn how to join us, stop by our
table for some free snacks and a handy brochure and map of CoreFoods-friendly eateries and shops
near campus!
