Samli, Thailand
Health Clinic Construction
EWB-CU designed and constructed a clinic in Samli complete with
waiting areas, examination rooms, latrines, and a few patient rooms
for critical cases. The objective for the clinic is to offer health
care to rural hill tribe peoples who lack transportation and resources
to access urban clinics and promote cultural and technical exchange
between the beneficiaries of the community of Santisuk.

Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota
Improvements to Water Quality and Distribution
Development of Alternative Energy Sources
The Pine Ridge Reservation encompasses the two poorest counties in the United States.
The needs of the Lakota people include improved quality, treatment, distribution
and conservation of water resources, and development of alternative energy
sources such as solar, biogass or wind power. CU-EWB has interest in developing
an ongoing relationship with the reservation to help address these issues.

Water and Nutrition Improvement Program
EWB-CU will aid in the excavation of wells to provide a safer and more portable
water source to this community. This project is being currently used as a case study for the class, "Engineering in Developing Communities," in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciesnce.
