I was born in La Ciudad Corazon, Santiago, Dominican Republic. I am a senior at Columbia College double majoring in Hispanic Studies and Sociology and interested in pursuing a career in Criminal Law. I love classics bachatas and merengues and I definitely love Juan Luis Guerra, Anthony Santos, Aventura and many others. I love all Dominican dishes especially Sancocho and take pleasure in cooking them as well. I enjoy dancing, learning, reading and exploring new places. I’m very proud to be Dominican and someday I would like to give back to my community in Santiago and get involved in the Dominican government.
I am currently attending Barnard College. I am Pre-Med but I plan to major in Spanish and Latin American Cultures. I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. Both of my parents are Dominican, and so although I was born in the US I feel as Dominican as can be. My family is from Santiago. When it comes to music I absolutely love Aventura! I also enjoy listening to Juan Luis Guerra. My favorite Dominican dish is Mangu con salami, although I have to say quipes and pastelitos are also at the top of my list!
I was born in Elmhurst, Queens but moved to Santiago, Dominican Republic after 3 months. I came back to the states at the age of 7 and again resided in Elmhurst with my grandma, my mom and my older brother. I am a Junior in The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science studying Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering. There is nothing that can compare to old school Bachateros like Luis Vargas, El Mayimbe Anthony Santos or even Frank Reyes just to name a few. Dancing is my way of life, through dance I am able to let everything go and just enjoy myself. Nothing hits the spot better after a long night of dancing like a Chimichurri!

I love to dance different styles of dance, including hip hop, bachata, modern, merengue, and tap. Last but not least, I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures.
