RECENT INSTITUTIONAL AFFILIATIONS


 

 

New York City Department of City Planning. Between 1993 and 1995 the Department has acted as a resource for a number of Urban Design Studio studies.

Antwerp Open City Program. In 1993 and 1994 the Open City sponsored Urban Design Studio studies for the city of Antwerp, Belgium in collaboration with the Henry van de Velde Instituut. The 1993 project was exhibited at the Antwerpen 93 European Culture Capital festival.

New York Regional Plan Association. In 1994 and 1995 the Association has acted as a resource for several Urban Design Studio studies.

Harlem Urban Development Corporation. In 1994 collaborated as a major resource for the Urban Design Studio project for the Harlem Empowerment Zone.

Programme in Housing and Urbanism, Architectural Association, London. In 1994 a student and faculty exchange was focused on studio projects for the Docklands redevelopment in London.

Brussels Open City Program. In 1995 the Open City sponsored an Urban Design Studio study for the city of Brussels in collaboration with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The project was exhibited at the Beurs Schouwberg in Brussels.

Regional Insitute for Urban Studies, Caracas. In 1996 the Institue is partially sponsoring an Urban Design studio and exhibition related to urban development in Caracas.

Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture, Istanbul. In 1996 the Center is partially sponsoring an Urban Design studio and exhibition related to urban redevelopment in Istanbul, in collaboration with the Yildiz University and the United Nations HABITAT Conference.

Center for Urbanity and Aesthetics, Department of Comparative Literature, University of Copenhagen. The University is sponsoring a dialogue conference with the faculty of the Center and the faculty of the Urban Design Program on The Urban Life World: Formation, Perception, Representation, in November 1996 in Copenhagen.
