Come and walk with us in this year's Greek Independence Day parade on 5th avenue this Sunday, March 25.

We will be marching in the 2nd batallion, which meets on 62nd street between 5th and Madison Ave. We will be meeting there at noon. Look for the Columbia banner and familiar faces.

Let's try to look somewhat uniform by wearing black pants and white shirts. If you are interested in purchasing school jackets (blue with Columbia logo), contact Charles Vorka at ckv4@columbia.edu or by phone at (212) 853-8881. The jackets cost $15.

Join us for a Greek meal after the parade at the restaurant "Estia" located at 308 E86 street (between 1st & 2nd ave) in Manhattan. (tel. 212-628-9100). We have a reservation under Areti's name. The Association will make a contribution to this lunch for its members.

• Appetizers will be on the house from 8:00-10:00 pm.
• Live music will begin at around 9:00 pm and the dancing will go on until we drop!

IMPORTANT INFO CONCERNING ADMISSION

1. If you are already an affiliate member of the I-House you will be able to enter as you normally do (all international students are eligible for affiliate membership free of charge by applying at the ISSO office). If you are NOT an affiliate member of the I-House, or if you are NOT affiliated with Columbia University at all, you need to e-mail ckv4@columbia.edu with subject title: "Party List" by December 6th at the latest, so that I can add your name to our guest list. We will present the guest list to the security at I-House in order to grant you admission.
2. While we will NOT charge for admission, we would appreciate any contributions towards the cost of holding this party, so that we can organize many more events like this throughout the next semester as well.
