Sun, March 25, 2001 12n Hellenic Independence Day Parade

Come and walk with us in this year's Greek Independence Day parade on 5th avenue this Sunday, March 25.

We will be marching in the 2nd batallion, which meets on 62nd street between 5th and Madison Ave. We will be meeting there at noon. Look for the Columbia banner and familiar faces.

Let's try to look somewhat uniform by wearing black pants and white shirts. If you are interested in purchasing school jackets (blue with Columbia logo), contact Charles Vorka at ckv4@columbia.edu or by phone at (212) 853-8881. The jackets cost $15.

Join us for a Greek meal after the parade at the restaurant "Estia" located at 308 E86 street (between 1st & 2nd ave) in Manhattan. (tel. 212-628-9100). We have a reservation under Areti's name. The Association will make a contribution to this lunch for its members.
