Welcome

Yavneh, the Orthodox group of Columbia University and Barnard College, is one of the largest and strongest student groups on campus. From daily minyanim and learning initiatives, to New York Rangers games and assassins, there are endless ways to get involved. No matter where you come from, this is a place where you can feel at home.

Yavneh's in the Spectator!

Did you know that our very own Yavneh is in the Columbia Spectator?

Tzedakah Campaign a Success!

Thanks to all of your donations, we reached our goal of $2000 for our Tzedakah campaign! (We actually have already collected close to $2500). The money will be donated to a family in Tzfat whose father and husband was killed in a Katyusha rocket attack this summer; he left a wife and four children without a means of support. The money that we collected is enough to help feed the family for a year. If you would still like to donate to our cause, please contact Taryn (ts2133@barnard.edu). The Tzedakah money that we continue to collect over the semester will still be donated to the organization that helped us sponsor this family, Yad Ezra V?Shulamit, an organization that helps provide food to poor families in Northern Israel.
