This document provides instructions for routine claiming of periodical issues as part of the serials checkin process. Consult additional DCMM documents if claiming material obtained on gift or exchange, claiming replacements for damaged material, claiming issues using the Expired Action Request List (EARL), or claiming non-periodical material.
If the vendor code is d, unknown, or gift, consult supervisor.
When checking in periodical issues, check previous receipt lines for missing issues or unfilled claims.
