Claim missing issues; follow the DCMM procedures for claiming
periodical issues during serials checkin.
If missing issues have already been claimed 3 times, contact
the subject bibliographer or selector to determine if the missing
issues should be replaced.
If missing issues are to be replaced:
return the issues to the current shelves, OR
place the issues on the problem shelf. Insert a
receipt statement in the OPR record indicating the new location. For
example:
ON PROBLEM SHELF: v.1:no.1 (1976:Jan.)-v.1:no.11 (1976:Nov.)
If missing issues are not to be replaced, bind what you
have as an incomplete volume.
When the bundles have been prepared for binding and are being
boxed, input a receipt line on the OPR record indicating what items
are being bound. Follow the CLIO Manual procedures for formatting
receipt lines in the MARC Holdings Format.
