 A. At least 6 months before opening:    CHECK
  1. Curator submits "Exhibition Planning Form" (doc / pdf) via email to newproject@libraries.cul.columbia.edu

 B. At least 5 months before opening:  
  1. Curator meets with Director, Preservation and Digital Conversion Division to discuss conservation requirements for any extremely fragile material and schedules work with conservator

 C. At least 3 months before opening:  
  1. Curator contacts LDPD to set up new non-digital collection in the Exhibition Support Software
  2. Curator distributes final list of all items in exhibition
  3. Curator distributes draft case layout and list of labels

 D. At least 2 months before opening:  
  1. Curator finalizes & proofs labels and submits to PRES

 E. At least 1 months before opening:  
  1. PRES completes constructing mounts
  2. Curator identifies any needed corrections

  1. Curator installs exhibition
  2. Any needed corrections are taken care of
