One examination has also been made during the year hy
the Government Bank Examiner, with like results.

Since the last Annual Meeting two vacancies have occurred
in the Board, by the decease of John A. Stevens, formerly
and for many years the President of the Institution; and of
John C. Gkeen.    There now exist four vacancies.
