Stolper gift. Professor B. J. R. Stolper (A.M., 1930 TC) has pre¬
sented three letters written to him by E. W. McCready in Janu¬
ary, 1934, which tell a most absorbing stoiy of Stephen Crane in
his "Commodore" days, and comprise a documentary account of
those experiences.
Su.hr gift. Dr. Heinrich P. Suhr has presented the books, manu¬
scripts, and notes gathered by the late Dr. Nicholas Koenig (A.B.,
1903; A.M., 1904; Ph.D., 1908), relating to the ancient languages
of the Near East.
T(?;7;ze7;ifl'?/7;/gift. Piofessoi Fiank Tannenbaum (A.B., 1921) has
presented a series of letters, documents, and papers comprising his
personal file relating to the origin and development of the Farm
Security Program, in which he participated during the Roosevelt
Administration, 1934-1937.
Westervelt gift. Mrs. Leonidas Westervelt has presented a valuable
collection of books, manuscripts, and memorabilia of Brander
Matthews and other personalities of the theatei. The mateiials are
from the collection founded by her late husband (1903 C).
