The only other thing -- in 1973 I think it was. No, not 1973. It must have been in 1977 or 1978, Nat Hentoff in a column in the Voice proposed me as the kind of person who should be the mayor of New York City. I kept doing what I was doing.

Q:

Well we'll have to get in to Bread and Roses.

Foner:

Bread and Roses comes in. Okay.

Q:

So is that our next installment?

Foner:

Our next installment is Bread and Roses.
