staff.

Lasker:

Well, they have staff but they are not talented staff and they don't give the doctors summaries of what has been accomplished in the saving of lives and the reduction of disabilities.

Q:

Why isn't this looked after? Why can't it be done?

Lasker:

Because the doctors themselves don't understand it or believe in it. They just have no natural public relations sense. Neither Terry nor Shannon understand this. It can be done, but it's just that they don't happen themselves to understand public relations any more than I understand surgery.

Q:

But there are people there who are involved in the administrative end of the things.

Lasker:

Yes, but they have no flair for this; they're frightened. They think it's better to say nothing than to defend themselves. It's very curious.

Q:

It's certainly an area where improvement could be obtained.

Lasker:

Yes, it certainly is.
