How were your business enterprises flourishing?

Lasker:

Well, my business enterprises were flourishing, were perfectly all right, curiously enough. The patterns were selling and what I was doing in other areas was all right, and this was a kind of summer vacation for me. I went to San Francisco for the fair, which was very attractive, and while I was there Albert telephoned me and said he was very tired and worn out and he was going to go to a ranch in Arizona, and a friend of his sent a plane to take him to this ranch, and he had a nurse with him.
