What is his average size?
Well, his average size ismaybe seven feet by five feet or bigger. There's something that in order to express his feelings he needs space around what he paints. And many of the other painters do that, too.
Now, there's one younger painter, Paul Jenkins, who's in his early forties, who seems to have a lovely color sense at time and to be a little bit like Redon at moments, only that he's an abstract expressionist also. I've bought a number of his pictures which I've loaned to friends, to my sister and to Mrs. Mahoney, and he's a very sensitive and very talented painter. He may not have developed his final style. He's still quite inexpensive. For instance, I bought a beautiful painting by him for about $2800 that's now at the United States mission at the UN. If you pass by, you can see it through the doors in the courtyard. You can walk in and look at it. I think it's very interesting. In fact, there are two there.
Those are all on loan?
Those are all on loan. He comes from Kansas City. He's bearded. He has gray hair and a gray beard although he's quite young; has a very sensitive face. I first met him at
