And after that on the deck there was a reception for 200 other New Yorkers with the officers of the crew and members of the household that were traveling with them all coming out and introducing themselves, which was very cordial and very pleasant.
The queen really just goes through it all but doesn't get involved at all. Really it's all just done and she appears, and she doesn't really put herself into it in the sense that her mother does or make any real effort to identify with anybody, you know? But she couldn't do all the things she does and live through it if she did.
Especially a tour like that.
But you get absolutely no sence of fun out of it with her.
What about Prince Phillip?
Well, he's easier. He's more penetrable than she is. She's really impenetrable. It's such a routine with her. But she looks charming, and you can't help but respect her.
