Lasker:

It's identified, isn't it?

Q:

Yes.

Lasker:

I think this is unusually

Q:

Since when have you been occupying their house on the coast of France?

Lasker:

Well, they purchased it from Mr. Cameron about 1970. I've really had it the last six years. This year I'm not going to have it. I'm going to visit them for five days, and then I've rented a house in Ireland for three weeks.

Q:

In Ireland? Where in Ireland?

Lasker:

Near Dublin. Near the Dublin Airport. It belongs to a Mrs. Plunkett, and it's called Castle. It's an ancient house that was redone as a mediaeval castle in the early eighteen- hundreds. And it's said to be very pretty.

Q:

Why the switch to Ireland from the ?

Lasker:

Because I couldn't find a house that was really good in the south of France to rent, one that I would enjoy.

Q:

You used to have one down there, did you not? You used to rent one?

Lasker:

This is the Fiorentina. This is the one that belongs to the Lawrences now. And there's nothing else comparable that was for rent. So I -- and I thought it would be fun to go some place else for three weeks.
