PSSA was happy to host Jay Lefkowitz, Julie Menin, and Hope Glassberg, all of whom are involved in politics and the making of policies at various levels, for a moderated Q&A with PSSA Treasurer Sean Choi.
Jay Lefkowitz is currently lawyer at Kirkland & Ellis, but spent time in the White House under George W. Bush as deputy director of domestic policy, then later was a Special Envoy for Human Rights in North Korea. He also teaches at the law school about the Supreme Court.
Julie Menin is currently the Commissioner of the NYC Department of Consumer and has held various roles in local New York City government including the former Chairperson of Community Board 1 in downtown.
Hope Glassberg is Senior Proeject Manager and Policy Advisor at Montefiore Medical Center's Care Management Company. Previously, she served as the Special Assistant to the Director of the Center for Medicaid at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and has worked as a freelance writer for The New Republic and the New York Times.
