The New York Yankees vs. Anaheim Angels
1PM

Come see the infamous New York Yankees, winners of 26 World Series as they take on the Anaheim Angels. Party like a bleacher creature and take part in the Yankee roll call. Chow down ballpark franks, peanuts and crackerjacks as you root for the home team. Only 200 tickets available, $10 per ticket.

"The Event"
10 PM South Street Seaport

The Event returns! Come party and say goodbye to 2004 at the most anticipated party of the year. This is the second year of this new university end year tradition where 2200 Columbia undergraduates take over Lower Manhattan. Come and party at one of New York City's most beautiful and elegant spaces. Dance to two of NYC's hottest DJs on the wrap around terrace overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge. Dressy-casual is required. Food and non-alcoholic beverages included in the price of your ticket. Online ticket purchase is available (bring a printed receipt with you to the Event), or a limited number of tickets will be available for cash sale with a CUID at the Office of Student Development and Activities (505 Lerner Hall) beginning April 26th until sold out. All purchases are final. $20 per ticket.

Six Flags Great Adventure
9AM-6PM

Come to one of the world's largest theme parks: Six Flags Great Adventure to indulge in roller coasters, thrill rides, shows, water rides, games and more. Ticket includes park admissions and round trip bus transportation. $40 per ticket.

Columbia Club Cocktail Hour
6PM - 8PM

The Columbia Club Cocktail Hour is a chance for seniors and their families to meet Columbia University Alumni Representatives and learn more about the opportunities available after graduation. The Club is eager to introduce itself, and the possible benefits of membership, to graduating seniors. Come enjoy an elegant time at one of the nation's most prestigious clubs. The Columbia University Club of New York is eager to sign graduating seniors to the club, including specials such as a waived initiation fee, a highly discounted membership fee, and all the benefits of joining one of the nation's most prestigious clubs. 8PM-4AM Ace Gallery

Columbia University's annual end of the year art party. Held in a raw, off-campus warehouse space (this year in downtown Manhattan), the show highlights the tremendous artistic talent of the Columbia senior class and other members of the Columbia community. Featuring everything from sculpture, photography, painting, live music, DJs, poetry, dance, film and more, Collision is an event that is sure to make us all appreciate the creative talent that surrounds us everyday in Morningside Heights. While not an official Senior Week event, this is a great chance to get out all the talents of your fellow students. Tickets are available at Lerner Box Office, tables around campus, or online, and include admission and refreshments. For tickets and further questions, check out www.CollisionNYC.org.

Central Park Field Day

Bacculareate Service
3PM St. Paul's Chapel

Family and friends are invited to attend this initerfaith Baccalaureate Service honoring the graduating seniors. Cap and Gown must be worn. No tickets are required for this event, but seating is extremely limited; additional seating will be available outside the Chapel. Barnard students should meet at 2:20 in front of Barnard Hall.

Senior Ball
7:30PM - Midnight Pier 60, Chelsea Piers

It's prom with a little more class... and a lot more fun. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and a sit-down dinner on the Hudson. Dance the night away with you classmates to a live jazz band and bumping DJ. Finish off your college days in style. BC Picture & Graduation Rehearsal

All candidates planning to attend Commencement are required to attend the rehearsal. The list of those expected to attend Commencement will be posted on eBear and on a bulletin board outside of 105 Milbank. The final seating list will be posted on Monday morning on bulletin boards on the first floor of Barnard Hall.

One of your last chances to bond with your fellow engineers in style. The Class Dinner includes a cocktail reception, a multi-course catered meal, and a champagne toast. Tuesday, May 18 CLASS DAY

Columbia College Class Day
10am - 12:30pm South Field Lawn

This is a school specific ceremony honoring candidates for Bachelor of Arts degrees from Columbia College. Cap and Gown are worn at Class Day. Each student will have the opportunity to have his or her name read while crossing the stage, have a picture taken with the Dean of the College, and receive a Class of 2004 pin. Professional photographers will be on hand to capture these moments on film. Families will be able to meet various faculty members and administrators at the reception which immediately follows the ceremony under the Hamilton Lawn tent. Tickets are not required.

The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science Class Day
2:30pm - 4pm South Field Lawn

This is a school specific ceremony honoring degree candidates from The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). Cap and Gown are worn at Class Day. Each student will have the opportunity to have his or her name read while crossing the stage, have a picture taken with the Dean, and receive the Engineering insignia pin. Professional photographers will be on hand to capture these moments on film. Families will have be able to meet various faculty members and administrators at the reception which immediately follows the ceremony under the Hamilton Lawn tent. Tickets are not required.

Barnard Commencement
2:30pm - 4:30pm Lehman Lawn (Rain location: Levien Gymnasium)

Candidates assemble in the LeFrak gymnasium at 1:30pm and should go immediately to their assigned seats. Caps and gowns must be worn. Please be on time so that the procession can start on schedule at 2:15pm. Parents and guests should be in their seats on Lehman Lawn by 2:00pm. Tickets are required.

A reception will follow the ceremony, please check the program for location details.


Wednesday, May 19 COMMENCEMENT

University Commencement of the 250th Academic Year
10:30am - 12:00pm Low Memorial Library Plaza

Join 30,000 graduates, families, and friends in celebrating University Commencement in the 250th anniversary year. The ceremony will include all 17 of the undergraduate and graduate schools as all degrees are conferred. Congratulations to the Class of 2004!

BC students are to assemble in the LeFrak Gymnasium at 9am and then process to the ceremony.
CC students are to assemble in front of Uris Hall, facing east.
SEAS students are to assemble on Lewisohn Lawn.

Distribution of diplomas will follow University Commencement.
