Events
Event Highlights

In September, the Alumni Association’s Doctoral Graduates Committee hosted a reception for all CUSSW doctoral students. Over 20 doctoral students attended the event, along with committee members, Dean Jeanette Takamura, Doctoral Program Chair Julien Teitler and Associate Director Lindsay Bennett.

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations was on the west coast this fall, hosting programs in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Kim Barberich, CUSSW director of career and leadership development, led a program in each city on Managing Your Career. Look for more local programming in these areas as graduates mobilize and start planning events year-round. Check out more photos of the events on Facebook.

For the second year, CUSSW alumni in the New York City area participated in Broadway Night. This fall, 40 alumni went to see the new play, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. The play was preceded by a happy hour at a local restaurant near the theater where everyone had the opportunity to connect. Many thanks to Columbia Alumni Arts League (CAAL) for assisting us with tickets.
