CYPRIAN, fl. sixth century A.D., was an important noble at the court of Theodoric the Goth. Theodoric appointed him Comes Sacrarium Largitionum in a letter written by Cassiodorus for the king (Epistola V.40-41).

Boece says that he earned Cyprian's hatred when he withstood his false accusations against Albyn, a Roman consul, Bo I, Prosa 4.103. [Albyn: Basilius: Boece: Conigaste: Decorat: Opilion: Trygwille]
