HERMANNO. Heremianus, fl. third century A.D., was one of Zenobia's sons, whom she dressed in the regalia of the Roman emperors. Boccaccio gives this detail in De casibus virorum illustrium VIII.6.

The Monk says that Cenobia dressed her sons Hermanno and Thymalao in "kynges habit," MkT 2343-2346. [Cenobia: Thymalao]

Hermanno, the ME variant, appears in medial position, MkT 2345.
