WestLB is represented in more than 35countries worldwide and employs over 10,000 staff in the Banking Group. Some of its services include-Corporate Clients services (strategic positioning, support in sales market, capital cost and risk management, liquidity and balance sheet optimization), Debt Capital Markets services, Global Derivatives and Fixed Income products (WestLB is one of the biggest issuers of DM bank bonds), warrants, structured finance services as well as global treasury economic research.

Brief Project Description :  
The project will focus largely on the technical aspects of project finance and financial modeling, as this is one of the key skills banks/financial firms will look for from new junior hires. A real life case example in project finance will be used. Other aspects can be folded into the program at the request of the students. Curricular aspects of the project will be finalized with the students.

Brief Company Description :

The Estée Lauder Companies signed an exclusive global licensing agreement to develop and market a line of men’s and women’s fragrances and cosmetics under the Tommy Hilfiger brand in 1993. Two years later, the Company’s new division, Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries, launched a men’s fragrance, "tommy," which has been a tremendous success worldwide. The success of "tommy" led to the introduction of a women’s fragrance, "tommy girl," in the fall of 1996. In May 1998, Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries introduced "tommy’s shops" in the United States, while simultaneously launching new unisex body, hair and face products. The store-within-a-store format of the shops allows the new products to be sold alongside the three fragrances. Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries products are sold in more than 50 countries and territories.
