The Game

This "market" game runs throughout the term and allows you, the student, to build a portfolio of your answers to case questions. Each answer will be assigned a value based on its merit, and you will be graded on the value of your portfolio at the end of the course. The value of each answer is not known at the outset: It will only be determined after the case is discussed in class. To do well in this assignment, then, you must no only select what you think is the best possible answer based on your preparation of the case, but argue for that answer in class to ensure that it's assigned the highest possible value. There is rarely a single best answer, so the in-class discussion is where things get interesting.

How It Works

For each case you prepare for class, you will be asked one or more multiple-choice questions. Based on the information provided in the case, you may have to identify the most important insight into the operations of the firm studied, choose the best management decision, etc. You must submit your answer by midnight the night before the class session. After that, you will not be able to change your answer. Good luck!
