I am jointly appointed between two departments of Columbia University. One is the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics, on the Morningside Campus of Columbia University in Manhattan, New York, NY. The other is the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, housed primarily at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, NY. I go back and forth between the two places. On average I am at each place about half the time.
