  3. Numbered problems are all from the textbook Scheduling: Theory, Algorithms and Systems
  4. I am working on a way to get a sigma into this document. For now I will just write SUM.

  3. Problem 3.15. Hint: use an exchange argument.
  4. Consider the problem 1||SUM Cj2. Propose an algorithm for this problem, and prove that it is optimal.
