meetings at end of semester.

Prerequisite
- CSOR 4231 and/or IEOR 6614.

- No Textbook. There will be handouts and posting on the web site.
Work for the course
Homework
There will be 1 or 2 assignments throughout the course.
Term Project
The course will have a term project. There are several options:
- Do a research project on a scheduling problem and write a paper describing the project.
- Take a scheduling problem, perform computational experiments, and write up your results.
We will have a meeting at the end of the semester to discuss everyone's term project. Some of the
material on the syllabus will not be covered in class and can form the basis for the start of
a term project.
Class participation
This is a seminar class. Students are expected to actively participate.
Exams
If a students completes the above requirements in a
satisfactory manner, there are no exams. If a students does not
complete one or more of the requirements above, he or she will be
given a final exam.
