Back to Frankfurt... Here's a 45rpm record, Angel Babie by Rosie and the Originals from 1961, originally issued by Highland Records. As you can see this copy, bought in the PX, is on the British London label, and has the London name half-heartedly magic-markered out.

7-inch 45rpm records were introduced by RCA Victor in 1949 for two-sided "singles" and they had replaced 10-inch 78rpm records by about 1956, by which time juke boxes had switched to the newer format. 45s have a bigger hole, that was used on small, inexpensive 45-only players but could also be played on the regular narrow spindle using an adapter, which (on this record) was built-in but could be punched out. To this day, most record players still play them, and some also even play 78s.
