This is an alternative search engine for the University of Michigan's electronic Middle English Dictionary. Unlike the Dictionary's native search engine, this engine supports fuzzy queries (e.g., a search for abayen returns abāten, abaien, abeien, etc.).
Searching for special characters is also a tad more intuitive. All non-ASCII characters have been reduced in the index to the output of Sean Burke's
Text::Unidecode Perl module. In particular:
