Saturday November 3, 1906 : Two telegrams¹ from Cotta re: gatherings 28 and 29, and the prelims gathering.² All sent off.³ Happy completion.

¹ = CA 51 and 52 (November 3).

² i.e. pp.[I]–XVI, unnumbered gathering comprising: [I] blank, [II] series title-page, [III] volume title-page, [IV] reverse title-page, [V]–[VIII] Foreword, IX–XVI Table of Contents.

³ According to CA 49, S had sent off both gatherings on October 26; S’s entry here does not seem strictly true, since according to CA 53, he sent the duplicate copy the next day, November 4.
