Wir bestätigen bestens dankend den Eingang Ihres gef. Schreibens vom 16 ds.2 und haben infolge dessen Herrn Dr. Grunsky gebeten, mit der gewünschten persönlichen Anknüpfung sich noch etwas zu gedulden.

Von der Besprechung in der Berliner Allgemeinen Musikzeitung No. 38 aus der Feder Dr. M. Burckhardts haben wir mit großem Interesse Kenntnis genommen.3 – Es freut uns, zu hören, daß wir dem Manuskript der Fortsetzung Ihres Werkes in Kurzem entgegensehen dürfen.

We acknowledge with thanks the arrival of your est’d letter of the 16th inst.,2 and have accordingly asked Dr. Grunsky to be patient a little longer with the desired attibution of authorship.

We were greatly interested to hear of the review in the Berliner Allgemeine Musikzeitung, No. 38, from the pen of Dr. M. Burkhardt.3 – We are happy to hear that we can look forward to the manuscript of the continuation of your work shortly.
