Sehr verehrter Meister!

[ sign’d: ] Cube.

Most honoured master,

As the first immediate consequence of my lectures in Cologne, I have been requested to ask you a question. Herr Erich Voss,1 resident in Cologne, Roonstrasse 44/III, would like to go to Vienna in October for his studies, and indeed would prefer to go straight to you. I am not apprised of his knowledge and ability. This much I can say: that he {2} is one of my most attentive listeners, and has asked very intelligent questions. According to his own words, it is the persuasiveness of your theories that has stimulated his desire now to study the new perceptions at their source. From what I can gather, financial matters seem to pose no problems for him. It is just a question of whether you would take him on as a pupil, {3} or whether, if the opportunity arises, he should undertake preliminary studies with Dr. Weisse. After this initial enquiry, I would then request that he contact you and provide all the necessary details in writing. Please write to tell me what you think of this; I hope that others may follow him.

With affectionate regards to you and your wife,

Yours,
[ sign’d: ] Cube
