Handwritten letter from Halm to Schenker, dated September 30, 1922

30.IX.22

Lieber u. verehrter Herr Professor!

September 30, 1922

Dear and honored Professor,

Gratefully, I appreciate your trust. Your letter1 will give me some things to reflect on. Enclosed, the newspaper clippings returned.2 I cannot write any more today. I am in a great hurry, and today is the last “cheap” day of postage on which I will mail as much as possible. And I certainly could not write anything in depth so soon without having contemplating further. Cordial greetings and wishes from

Your
[ sign’d: ] August Halm

{2} P.S. You can keep the two brochures3 that I am enclosing, or if you do not want to have them, you can send them back to me when you get a chance. They just should not be thrown away. But perhaps you would like to have them in your collection.

I just cannot find No. 1.
