Ihre frdl. Zustimmung, die ich heute erhielt,1 war mir schon genügende Grundlage, um den geigneten Schritt zu unternehmen. Nach Aussage des Bankleiters, die ich gleich einholte, besteht Aussicht auf Einwilligung seitens der deu[ts]chen Zentrale2. So viel in Eile.

Your friendly agreement, which I received today,1 was sufficient basis for me to undertake the appropriate action. According to the statement of the bank director, which I immediately secured, there is a chance for consent|2 from the German central agency. This much in haste.

1 In DLA 69.930/4, S asks for H’s “freundliche Zustimmung” (friendly consent) to transferring 1,600 Kronen for H's use from a trust administered by him. H’s response is OJ 11/35, 10, December 14, 1918, which S is here acknolwedging.

2 Original appears to read “deuchen-Zentralle”, hence the translation given here is provisional.

SUMMARY:
S has authorized payment [from a trust that he administers]via the bank.
