Sehr geehrte Herren,

Ihr Schreiben vom 27.VI.35¹ habe ich zur Kenntnis genommen als die schriftliche Wiederholung der mündlichen Abmachung ^{, die besagt}, daß Sie vor Festlegung der beidenseitigen Rechte u. Pflichten, die sich an eine event. Uebernahme des ^gesamten Schenker Nachlasses knüpfen, auch nicht den kleinsten Teil daraus zum Druck oder Vortrag bringen werden.

Bitte lassen Sie mir einen Prospekt der Zeitschrift² zuschicken; ich danke dafür zum voraus u. grüße hochachtungsvoll

Dear Sirs,

I acknowledge your letter of June 27, 1935,¹ as the written representation of the verbal agreement ^stipulating that before completion of the statement of mutual rights and responsibilities relative to the possible acquisition [by you] of the ^complete Schenker Nachlaß, you will not bring out the smallest portion thereof either in print or in lecture.

Please have a prospectus of the journal² sent me; my thanks in advance, and with respectful greetings
