The Process Model is integrative. It helps us link the user context with assessment design and validation work. As designers, it helps us to consider the decision-making context when taking actions on assessment design and validation. As users, it helps us consider the context of assessment design and evidence from validation studies before we put an instrument to use. Such integrative links help us in avoiding misuses of assessment tools and promote better assessment practices.
