contexts for practitioners in User Paths 1-6. The applications dealt with:
- standard-setting,
- assigning report card
marks,
- conducting domain-referenced
analysis,
- evaluating longitudinal
trends,
- developing plans and
conducting needs
assessments, and
- conducting summative
evaluations of programs/services.
In each of these areas, the chapter identified methodological and philosophical issues that affect our decisions, made recommendations for best practices, and presented step-by-step guidelines for selected applications.
