The following behavioral tasks should be demonstrated by your student and rated as follows: observed consistently (2), observed inconsistently (1), and not observed at all (0). Each behavioral task should be rated separately. To interpret please total the ratings across tasks.
Observed Consistently (2) - Student demonstrated the specific behavioral task and a pattern of behavior has been established. You should observe this behavior consistenty throughout the training. Your student may need some rare reminder from time to time, if it becomes inconsistent.
Observed consistently means:
- a behavioral task has been observed 7 out of 10 times or more in a clinical setting
- a clear pattern of learned behavior has been seen
- the behavioral task was done independently
- a few reminders or leading cues may be given during the task
Observed Inconsistently (1) - Student demonstrated this behavior but requires help to demonstrate the behavior consistently. You should observe a pattern of behavior developing but not yet completely consistent.
Observed inconsistently means:
- a behavioral task has been observed 6 out of 10 times or less in a clinical setting
- an inconsistent pattern of a learned behavioral task has been seen
- frequent assistance, reminders and verbal cues were needed
Observed Not at All (0) - Student does not directly demonstrate a certain behavioral task. you should not see any demonstration of the specific behavior rated. an opportunity to learn this behavior was given and constant supervision was provided in that learning process. However, still no learning and natural behavior was observed from your student.
Not observed at all means:
- absolutely NO behavioral task of any form or level has been seen or observed from your student.
- any form or level of physical activity seen or observed, in relation to any behavioral task being observed, is considered as observed inconsistently.
