1.2 11. Student checks first the physical therapy order of the medical staff from the medical chart or computer.      
12. Student verifies with the clinical instructor first the medical stability of his/her patients before proceeding with the actual evaluation, if not sure.      
1.2.1 13. If unsure, student concurs first with the clinical instructor regarding the appropriateness of the physical therapy intervention to the current medical condition of his/her patient before doing anything.      
14. Student clears with the medical staff any concerns or safety issues raised during the history taking process.      
15. Student observes appropriate blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen level changes of his/her patients during and after the evaluation process.      
16. Student seeks guidance with the clinical instructor in terminating the physical therapy evaluation anytime it is not safe to do so.      
1.2.2 17. Student listens to the heart and lung sounds of his/her patients in every evaluation procedure.      
18. Student recognizes correctly the normal and abnormal symptoms of his/her patients during the evaluation.      
19. Student uses correctly the rated of perceived exertion during graded exercise test procedure.
